Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the Yoga of Awareness. It is the householder’s yoga—for people who are active in the world. Most other systems of yoga were developed by those living the renunciate life. Kundalini Yoga gives you tools to expedite your spiritual growth and healing. Practice gives you an experience beyond the limits of time and space—an experience of the depth of your soul and true identity. This direct experience of your higher self builds a platform of strength, radiance, and security on which to build your life.

Kundalini Yoga also provides more well-known benefits: increased flexibility, expanded lung capacity, a strong core, and stress alleviation. What is a Kundalini Yoga class like?

At the beginning of a Kundalini Yoga class, we chant the Adi Mantra, Ong namo guru dev namo, I bow to the Infinite, I bow to the teacher within,which connects us to the Golden Chain of teachers over thousands of years, and connects you to the teacher within, the strength and peace of your own heart.

Every class has a kriya which is a series of exercises that have been put together by the Masters, and the kriya is designed for a particular healing purpose, eg for the Heart and lungs or for Balanced Creativity. There are over 4000 of these kriyas taught by Yogi Bhajan during his life.

During the class we do a deep relaxation, and a meditation. The class is non competitive and all about your own  personal wellbeing. Let your intuition guide you to work to your own ability throughout the class.

Come to a Kundalini yoga class and enjoy a bit of time for yourself. (About an hour and ten minutes). There are mats and blankets in the studio if you need them, and you will join our Sangat – the community of people practicing and loving Kundalini Yoga!

    • The first Kundalini Yoga/ Kirtan evening at the Bunday Hall is at 6pm on Monday 18th March.  See below for details.
    • Tuesday at 5pm at the Home Studio at 241 Montgomery Rd Bundalguah 3851 (find on google maps)

    • Tuesday Meditation class at 6.30pm after the yoga class at the Home Studio.
    • Every Wednesday at 5pm at the Home Studio
    • Every Thursday from 7am till 8am.  (Please text 0418313641 on Wed to book.)

Casual classes $15,  Meditation class $10

Membership   $70 which includes all classes for the calendar month, whether attended or not.

Please wear comfortable loose or stretch clothes and bring a yoga mat and a shawl or blanket if you have one. I have spare mats and blankets here if you need to use them.

Everyone is welcome to the classes and no previous experience is needed, all ages and gender, and you don’t have to sing or chant, just join in to what you can comfortably.
