Mahamuda learns new techniques from Salma in the production room at the Society for Underprivileged Familes
|
Infinity Cottage was founded to provide quality equestrian and casual clothing to you, the horse rider and enthusiast.
It began with a family of showjumpers who always mislaid their ratcatchers so they designed a shirt with a built-in ratcatcher! The shirts changed to many colours and added embroidery. Their popularity grew and sales increased and now the shirts are sold all over Australia.
Designed by Jill Atherstone, Infinity Cottage shirts are now made in Bangladesh by the Society for Underprivileged Families. As an Australian Volunteer there in 2003/2004, Jill set up a tailoring production unit for Society for Underprivileged Families (SUF), and as they were looking for a market in Australia she taught them to make the riding shirts. The shirts are beautifully made from quality cotton and silk fabrics and hand embroidered by the women who work at SUF.
And the profit goes back to support child rights in Bangladesh. To learn more about the wonderful work done by SUF and to sponsor a child for higher education, visit their website at http://www.sufchildrights.org/
